Art & Exploration Workshops for Homeschoolers
Join Wickham Works' Art & Exploration Workshops for Homeschoolers —hands-on sessions where kids experiment, play, learn, and connect with each other.
The Early Fall 6-week program, runs from September 8th - Oct. 13th and meets on Tuesday's between 10am and 3:30pm.
There are a variety of 60-minute classes for you to choose from, recommended for children *6 and up. Each is guided by a professional artist and teacher who brings years of experience working with children to each workshop. Full details provided with each class. Workshops are held at Warwick Valley Community Center. Parents may drop off, but there will also be a stay and play area for younger siblings and parents.
* Exploratory Art, 10 - 11am is designed for younger children, ages 4 - 7. If you have a younger child who you feel would be comfortable in one of our other classes, please reach out.

Summer Makers Lab Workshops
Children explore, create and experiment in our artist-led workshops. Along with art, your kids will play games, get messy in the mud kitchen and sandbox, and have plenty of free play.
August 3 – 6: Paper Play with Beth Laule – Paper Mache, Weavings, Sculptures and Collages. Collaborative projects and team challenges.
August 10 – 13: Curiosity Lab with Nikki Romanello – four themed days of hands-on science fun – Geology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
August 17 – 20: Meet the Artists with Lisa Cullen - a wild art adventure inspired by Louise Nevelson, Andy Goldsworthy & Jackson PollockWho: Suitable for ages 6 - 12.

Open Door Makerspace
Free drop-in workshops for all ages. Come make art with us! Bring your own projects, or join in with ours. Dress to get messy.

Create & Connect: Joyful Art for Seniors & Caregivers
A joyful arts and crafts program led by experienced Wickham Works teaching artist Jenny Torino. Activities are designed to suit a range of skill levels, making the program welcoming for everyone. The goal is to enhance seniors’ quality of life by offering a social, creative experience that encourages them to stay active, independent, and connected to their community. Workshops include: Felting, Printmaking, Bookmaking, and Decorative Arts.

Introduction to Crochet for Adults and Children
Pick up a new skill in this two-part crochet workshop for Adults and Teens (13+), and Children ages 6-12. Educator and artist Christina LeBar shares a beginner-friendly introduction to crochet with hands-on instruction and guided practice. Participants learn essential crochet techniques and gain the confidence to continue crocheting independently.

Drawing from the Inside Out: 3-Part Workshop Series for Women
Join figurative abstract artist Heidi Lanino in a supportive, immersive environment where women can develop observational skills, experiment with intuitive mark-making, and translate internal experience into drawing and clay sculpture.
