A Celebration of Art, Community, and Environmental Action!
Wickham Works is gearing up for Treecycle 2025, a free, public Earth Day festival taking place in Stanley Deming Park, Warwick, on Saturday, April 26, 1 to 5pm (rain date: April 27). We need your support to make it happen!
Treecycle 2025 is a collaborative effort between community members of all ages, the Village of Warwick, environmental and arts groups, and local organizations. Together, we transform Stanley Deming Park with art exhibits, creative activities, entertainment, and information—all while raising awareness about sustainability and the importance of caring for our planet.
How You Can Get Involved:
Collaborate: Join as an artist, performer, or exhibitor to showcase your work and inspire others.
Volunteer: Help bring Treecycle 25 to life by assisting with planning, setup, or festival activities.
Sponsor: Support this meaningful event by contributing funds or materials.
Attend: Save the date and bring your friends and family to enjoy art, music, performances, and environmental learning.

What to Expect at Treecycle 2025:
Art & Creativity: Join the fun with hands-on art activities focusing on creative reuse of materials. Make something for the “Community Garden” installation created by Christina LeBar and friends in our community workshops, or be part of the Gaint Snake Challenge, adding 1,000 decorated toilet tubes to artist Lisa Cullen’s installation. View the collaborative pieces made by students in the Warwick Area Farmworkers Organization after school workshops, led by artists Jenny Torino and Rachel Berg. Watch artist Beth Laule and her team of emerging artists working on a new community mural for Stanley Deming Park. Meet Mother Earth, the latest processional puppet created by artist Karen Decher and commissioned by Wickham Works for Treecycle. And see the unveiling of a new organic temporary sculpture, The Divine Feminine: Feeding Nature, by Warwick’s 2025 Artist-in-Residence, Nicole Hixon.
Live Performances: Linda Mensch and the Moving Company Modern Dance Center presents Toss It, at 2:30PM accompanied by and improvisational work that invites the audience to join in.
Arm-of-the-Sea Puppet Theater presents Riparian Rhapsody at 3PM, sponsored by Glenn P. and Susan D. Dickes and the Albert Wisner Public Library.Environmental Action: Learn from local groups such as Sustainable Warwick and Orange County Land Trust about earth-friendly initiatives.
Treecycle 2025 is an opportunity to come together, celebrate Mother Earth, and inspire action to protect the environment. Together, we can create a day filled with creativity, connection, and positive impact.
