For the Too Good to Toss Main Event, donations are accepted on Saturday only from 10am–4pm at the donation station. We cannot accept donations before or after these hours, and we do not offer pickup services.
Before packing your car, please review the list of items we cannot accept. All donations must be clean, in good working order, and include all necessary parts.
Donation procedures vary for other Too Good to Toss events, so please review the instructions for the specific event you plan to attend.

No. Too Good to Toss does not offer donation pickup services. Please bring accepted donations to the event during the designated donation hours.

At the main event volunteers are available to help you unload from the parking spaces in front of the basketball court. We are unlikely to be able to offer this service at mini events.

The Too Good To Toss Main Event is FREE to all! We do have expenses, however, and accept cash donations at the door (or you can donate here) to help cover them.
mini events may either be free or charge a fee to raise funds for our main event and for Wickham Works as a whole. Please refer to the information for each individual event.

For the Too Good To Toss Main Event, We give everything away on the Sunday of the event weekend at Stanley Deming Park, from 10am-4pm. We encourage attendees to take as much as they can carry, and advise you bring a cart, piece of luggage, or bag to shop into. For everyone's safety, we do not allow collecting of piles of items, If you do not abide by this rule we may ask you to leave.

We get it, theres so much good stuff at Too Good To Toss. Thanks for helping us keep perfectly good stuff out of a landfill! At the main event, we have parking spots at the exit reserved for loading the goods into your vehicle. Designated volunteers will help you carry out the big stuff and load it up! Once you leave the main event, you do have to get back in line, but we move through the line quickly!
For mini events we do not plan to have volunteers loading cars at this time, but in some cases, we may allow re-entry.

It's true, shoppers line up as early as 5:30am, but here's a tip: when the doors open at the main event at 10am we let in 150 people at once and then monitor the traffic closely from there. By 11:30 we usually get everyone in the door and no longer have to keep a line. (Fun fact: on average, 600 people attend in the first 2 hours and yet good stuff remains through the end). Don't not come because there is a line, thats silly, its free stuff!

We organize everything into departments which includes: Clothing (Men, Women, Kids), Fashion Accessories, Home Decor, Kids toys + Books, Arts + Crafts, Garage + Garden, Home Textiles, Kitchen + Bath, Office, Art, Rugs, Furniture, Sports + Outdoor, Holiday/Seasonal. You can see the list of unacceptable items for things that you won't find at TGTT on this page.

For the Too Good To Toss Main Event, we have been able to organize parking on the grass at Stanley Deming Park, right next to our event on the basketball courts. We'll have folks directing traffic so just get into the area and you'll find your way. That parking, however, this can be weather-dependent. If it has been a soggy few weeks leading up to the event, you can expect to park at the Park Ave Elementary Parking lot (walking distance) or in another legal parking spot. Parking spots in front of the basketball court are reserved for loading and unloading only with the exception of handicap parking.
Parking for mini events will be location-dependent.

Right?! This event is only possible because we have incredible volunteers, most of whom lend their time only for the days of the events. For future volunteer opportunities, please sign up for our newsletter (bottom left of the page). You should know that volunteers get first-pick of the goods (limited to 2 items per hour volunteered for the main event, most shifts are 3 hours). Watch this page for a signup link one month before TGTT events.

Too Good To Toss may also have fundraisers to support Wickham Works, The Warwick Valley Community Center, its own operational costs, and more.

En el Evento Principal, contamos con espacios de estacionamiento reservados en la salida para cargar artículos en tu vehículo. Voluntarios designados te ayudarán a transportar artículos grandes y cargarlos. Una vez que salgas del evento principal, tendrás que volver a formarte, ¡pero la fila suele avanzar rápido!
En los mini eventos no planeamos ofrecer ayuda para cargar vehículos por el momento, aunque en algunos casos podríamos permitir reingreso.

Es cierto: algunas personas comienzan a formarse desde las 5:30 a.m. Pero aquí va un consejo: cuando abrimos las puertas del Evento Principal a las 10 a.m., dejamos entrar aproximadamente a 150 personas a la vez y luego controlamos cuidadosamente el flujo de gente.
Para las 11:30 a.m., normalmente ya todos han podido entrar y la fila desaparece. (Dato curioso: en promedio, 600 personas asisten durante las primeras 2 horas y aun así siguen quedando cosas buenas hasta el final).
¡No dejes de venir solo porque hay fila… sería una tontería, son cosas gratis!

Para el Evento Principal de Too Good To Toss, normalmente organizamos estacionamiento sobre el césped de Stanley Deming Park, junto a las canchas de baloncesto donde se realiza el evento. Habrá personas dirigiendo el tráfico, así que una vez que llegues a la zona podrás orientarte fácilmente.
Sin embargo, este estacionamiento depende del clima. Si las semanas previas han sido muy lluviosas, es posible que tengas que estacionarte en el estacionamiento de Park Avenue Elementary School (a poca distancia caminando) o en otro lugar legal cercano.
Los espacios frente a la cancha de baloncesto están reservados únicamente para carga y descarga, excepto para estacionamiento accesible.
El estacionamiento de los mini eventos dependerá de cada ubicación.
