For the Too Good to Toss mini: kids on January 17, 2026, we will be vetting and accepting donations only on January 17th from 9am-2pm. Like the main event, donors are expected to stay with their items until they have been reviewed, items are accepted on on a case-by-case basis and any items we cannot accept should be taken away by the donor on the spot. Please review donation guidelines here:
Like all our events, donated items must be clean, in good working order, and have all their parts
For this event, we are accepting only baby and childrens’ items (up to age 16)
Items that must be in original packaging or have tags to be accepted:
Home textiles
Diapers (cloth and disposable)
Teethers and bottles
In addition to our usual list of items we cannot accept we will not be accepting Stuffed animals
-
We will have a bake sale to help us raise funds to put on more events and open our FreeStore in 2026!
-
If an item cannot be carried by a single person it is likely we may not accept it at this event. We will not have volunteers to aid in unloading/ loading of cars at this mini.
-
There is no entry fee, this is a free service for the community. We do, however, accept monetary donations to help us continue to offer these services for free.
If you would like to donate you can do so here, or with cash at our events.
-
For mini events we do not plan to have volunteers loading cars at this time, but in some cases, we may allow re-entry. At this mini event you can make as many trips to your car to unload your arms snd bags as you like.
-
The mini events don’t get the same kind of turn-out so we haven’t seen a crazy line yet. There is a nice warm waiting area inside the lodge if you arrive earlier than the start time.

At this Too Good To Toss mini: kids on January 17, 2025, all items will be for babies and children (16 and younger).
Please review the “how and what to donate” information for what we cannot take.

Right?! This event is only possible because we have incredible volunteers, most of whom lend their time only for the days of the events. For future volunteer opportunities, please sign up for the Wickham Works newsletter (bottom left of the page). You should know that volunteers get priority pick of the goods .Watch this page for a signup link one month before TGTT events.

Our one true aim is to share the joy, practicality, and sustainability of re-use.
Too Good To Toss may also have fundraisers to support Wickham Works, The Warwick Valley Community Center, its own operational costs, and more.
